“Creative Partnerships Durham Sunderland has been working since 2002 with cultural sector partners and schools to find new ways to enhance, diversify and enrich learning in the classroom. Corinne Lewis has worked with us from the beginning and developed a great rapport with two of our best performing schools: Barnes Infants and Broadway (both in Sunderland). At Broadway Corinne documented the development and opening of the school’s Gaudi-inspired Sculpture Garden and at Barnes she documented a range of creative projects – including the film project ‘Exodus 20’ which reworked the Ten Commandments for a contemporary audience. Corinne showed herself to be versatile in the range of work she did for Creative Partnerships and the images she produced were always a very high quality response to the brief and they were always delivered on time. We have used Corinne’s photography on our website www.creative-partnerships.com and in a range of printed publications: ‘How big is the sky?’ (a book reviewing the successes of our first phase) and our termly magazine ‘creative:minds’.” John McGagh | Communications & Administration Manager.
