Saltwell Park has a rich and varied history and I was lucky enough to get to know a number of local residents who shared their thoughts and memories of this stunning public park in Gateshead. During my time at Saltwell Park I aimed to capture the details of the flora and fauna that you can easily miss when walking past the many flower beds that are present in this 'People's Park'.
